I've used both superduper! and cc cloner. I ended up sticking with superduper as it as an option of automatically sleeping or shutting down the machine after the clone has run. I do one nightly and have had good results with it for many years. They are VERY responsive in terms of customer service and respond very promptly to emails.
OK I beleive I cloned the Hdd. I used SuperDuper. It took about an hour or so to do a 320 GB Hdd.
Now the next step is what? Do I use bootcamp to install my new Vista to my old Hdd? that is what I want to do. I just dont want to do this and then try to boot from my Mac side and find that I cant boot and its gone...
What next???
I do have a few misc questions tho...
Like Itunes. Id like to have itunes on my Vista side. How can i get my library off my Mac formatted ipod so I can at least listen to my music whilst Im on the Vista side of my Computer?
And about file transfering. If im using bootcamp what is the best method? I have more files Id like transfered than could fit on a buttload of dvds. Mostly music/wav files for Pro Tools. How can i get them copied over quickly and easily?
Thanks
FW400 disk drive with MacFUSE 3G to write to NTFS from Mac side if you can't devote an internal drive or partition, or don't have a PCI controller for SATA that you can use to connect an external SATA drive (which really is ideal).
MacDrive7 supports read/write from Windows to HFS+ partitions.
