skipping songs

skipping songs

Two of the songs i recently bought from itunes won´t play on my ipod. It just skips them. They play fine on my computer though. I've tried to reset the ipod, but nothing i´ve done seems to work. Any advice?

I've got the same problem. I purchased about 7 songs and my ipod will not play any of them. The ipod doesn't freeze up on them, it just skips the song entirely. The computer is authorized and the songs play fine on there, but not on my ipod.

Anything?

I am not POSITIVE this will work, but try updating your iPod software. Then reset your iPod. It SHOULD do the trick.

Can't. Apple has discontinued software updates for the 2nd gen nano. The last update was 1.1.3 and i'm sure we aren't ever going to get another one, no matter how many bugs we have. (heck, i can think of at least three right now..) I've got 1.1.3.

i did plug it into my computer several times and updated itunes. that seems to have fixed it, but i'm not sure if this is just a temporary fix...
