Anyone use RasMol or other molecular viewers?
For the science nerds out there...
I'm writing curricula and need a functional, but easy molecular viewer for an interactive tutorial. In the past (under XP), RasMol and MDL Chime work really well and produce great moderate-res images. RasMol is especially good because of the variable views, but I can't seem to find a Leopard version that actually works. The source code is out there, but I don't know much about compiling so I can't really do that.
Jmol is a little too simple, and SwissPDB is way overkill for what I need else I would just use those for simple ease of installation.
