flashing globe during start up
How come a round globe flashes before start up, and is sometimes followed by a flashing question mark? Eventually the computer starts, but is that bad?
Open the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences and set the hard disk as the startup disk; the globe means the computer is looking for a disk on the network.
