Anyone know anything about the online backup system iBackup for Mac? I installed it -went online to upload folders only to find out that the mac doesn't support the webfolders. I also used Firefox browser and the same thing. Should I be doing something different or does anyone know of a good reliable online backup system I can look at?
Hi BDAqua, yes, I installed the interface for iBackup for Mac. The same one from the link you sent. But for some reason, I cannot upload my folders and to upload one file at a time is too time consuming. Carbonite doesn't blend with the Mac and I don't know of any others. Do you?
Right click on the Folder you wish to backup, choose Archive, send the resultant .zip file which includes everything in the Folder as well as the folder.
FYI - iDrive ad iBackup are the same folks. They both do not support a lot of features for the Mac. I don't know why they say iDrive for Mac because it only backup some of your files and you cannot utilize a lot of the other features. I contacted them and they said they are working on enhancing the features for the Mac. Go figure. So I am cancelling my subscription with them. I need a complete backup. Just FYI.
