Error 1317-ko.lproj

when installing version 6, there was an error and when i went to the folder referenced above, it says the folder/file is corrupt. i cannot move, delete or rename, and now i have no itunes and cant play any music or update my ipod. i am so frustrated and have no idea what to do. can i get 5.0 back?

good gracious ... that's one of the language resources files/folders. (the
b Korean
one i think.)

does the file/folder throw an error message at you if you try to delete it? if so, what does it say?

thanks for the response

when i try to rename, delete, move, anything, it gives me an error saying the file is corrupt and cannot be altered. which is why i get the error message when updating. i think the update tries to replace that file and gets stuck, so now i have no ability to use itunes. thanks!

I think you've hit the nail on the head.

okay, Jeff Piersons once managed to get rid of some "stuck files" like this using Pocket KillBox:
