Save changes using Pico inside Terminal

Save changes using Pico inside Terminal

How do I save changes when editing files using Pico inside Terminal? I tried just a simple ctrl + s and it creates a .save document. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Mac Pro Quad 2.66 11 gigs, 1.250 TB hard drive, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

Hi

Pico's editor window (you should see it listed as nano) lists at the bottom options to exit the file and so on. Control+G will bring up the help file. Reading this will tell you Control+O saves or writes to a filename of your choice.

The instructions are also listed at the bottom of the editor window.
