I am unable to get the itunes download page http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ to appear completely on this PC. Does anyone have a URL or FTP address for the itunessetup.exe so that I can run it directly rather than having to go through the unnecessary html pages.

Yeah I have the same problem I can't download the itunes 6 or the apple IPOD updater the page does not load all the way I have tried multipule things. Let me know if there is another way to download it.

Take a look at the following. This seems to have fixed my problem.

"download itunes" on website displays blank blue box

I had McAfee Privacy Service running which must have been preventing my PC from sharing its Operating System info with Apple's website, and thus returning nothing in the blue field. Once I disable it and reloaded the page it worked fine.

I have the same problem with upgrading to itunes 6. I disabled McAfee, but I still could not see the download button, or anything that allows me download....any other ideas? i have tried just about everything I can think to do

I do not have any other ideas. In my case, disabling McAfee Privacy Service from the Security Center fixed my problem, and the page showed up OK (and from that I was able to download and successfully install itunes 6 without any further problems).

There were a few other things that I tried but without any success. Apple support suggested using a different browser, but that did not help me, as it turned out to be the McAfee. I also tried e-mailing the itunessetup.exe from another PC where the page downloaded OK, but I had a few problems with the e-mail attachment being stripped by my mail server or being too large. But I don't know whether you have another PC, or whether you have a suitable means to copy the exe file over. It might work for you. Before attempting to copy, I saved the exe file by clicking on the successful download page on my other PC, and selecting "save" instead of "open".

    hi patti!

    I disabled McAfee

just doublechecking this. did you disable McAfee
    b Privacy Service?
that's the culprit for people with McAfee, rather than the antivirus or firewall.
