How di I get Swedish letters?
How do I get the Swedish letters Å(å) Ä(ä) and Ö(ö) on my key-board?
DELL Inspiron 510m, Windows XP
If you tab and hold a key - say "A" - you will get what you are looking for.

Is there a key on the bottom left hand corner of your keyboard that looks like a globe? If so, hit that and it will change the keyboard locale. It should also tell you what it's changing to, so if it says "swedish" you should have your letters.
If that doesn't work, then you can hold your finger down on the aeiou keys to get the varients of the letters with accents and umlauts above them, not sure if they are what you want.

If I press "The Globe" and change to "Swedish" does not change much - I don't get the Å Ä and Ö, but when I hold on "A" I can get the letters.
So you have - in a way - solved my problem. But I would love to have the letters on the keyboard as I use them very often.

It may be that apple simply hasn't added those letters to the keyboard.

Go to settings > international > keyboards and enable the swedish keyboard.
