Resume Playback after Quit?

I was wondering if there's any way to resume playback, of a movie, where you left off if I go and quit Quicktime Player and then start it up again?

If not, is there any clever little plugins that would do the trick?

I always start watching a movie late at night - realise I'm too sleepy - then quit the Player - only to forget where I was when I go to resume the next day!
