Itunes "sync selected mail accounts" window is empty.

I've already used the search option but haven't found a n answer to my question.
I had to restore my iphone twice before the mail accounts which were working on 2g would show up on my 2.0 fw 2g, but if i go to the info tab in itunes, nothing shows up n the mail accounts window. Calendars and contacts are showing up correctly. Anyone have a fix for this?

empty = lists no accounts, is blank. The checkbox still works for some reason.

I have this same issue. I have working email accounts on my Mac, but have been unable (using the identical settings, btw) to get it to work on my new iPhone 3G. Therefore, I thought "I'll just synch the info from my Mac to my iPhone using iTunes as advertised!" Genius, I thought, except that iTunes does not display the mail accounts I have set up. Very disappointing.

Try deleting the email account in Mac Mail and then re-add it. You may need to relaunch both applications.

I had this problem too...

What I actually did to discover this (while on hold with Apple) was reinstall iTunes, then add a second mail account to see if that worked. It didn't. So I deleted the second mail account... then iTunes saw my original mail account and added it to the sync window in iTunes. I think it just forced iTunes to reconnect with the Mail app.
