Motorola SBG900

Getting ready to replace my old Comcast-supplied broadband modem that keeps dropping connections with a purchased Motorola SBG900 Surfboard wireless cable modem. Any helpful hints or horror stories before I pull the plug on the old modem and install the new one?

Never mind--installation was fairly painless. Only quirks for those of you with Comcast is that the installation disk for the modem is useless with a Mac (only works on Windows PC). Also, a phone to Comcast is necessary for it to log in the new modem's HFC MAC ID (took about 15 minutes on the phone).

Also, for anyone getting new equipment, a word to the wise: download any user guides for the new equipment BEFORE you disconnect the old (done from the manufacturer's website). I did and it was invaluable in going through the setup process.
