After installing itunes 6.0.1.3 it worked fine for some days and then today I tried to run the program:
Im getting the following error message
The instruction at "0x10001040" referenced memory at "0x10001040". The memory could not be "read".

Click OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program

iTunes doesnÂ’t start anymore.
I tried to repair iTunes, I deinstalled iTunes and installed it again. No success!
I tried it several times, but I canÂ’t start iTunes and therefore I canÂ’t customize my iPod.
Does anybody know what to do??

I thank everyone for a n answer in advance

Volker

hi Volker!

The instruction at "0x10001040" referenced memory at "0x10001040". The memory could not be "read".

good
b gracious
... i haven't seen
b that
one for a while ...

back in the 5.0.x days this usually indicated a broken quicktime, so let's start by trying a careful standalone QT 7.0.3 reinstall. see:

keep us posted on your progress.

hi b noir,

thank you for your answer. I tried two things and I don't know which one made it:

First I made a system repair of Windows XP( I don't know the exact english phraze for that one).
Second I did as you said: I tried a standalone QT reinstall.
In the end everything is working fine for now!
Thanks again for you advice!
Nice weekend.
Volker
