Can I use Turtle wax on my new phone?

I wouldn't.

Just get yourself a microfiber cloth (sold at every big box electronics store in everywhere) and just wipe it down now and then. It cleans up remarkably well.

besides the microfiber cloth, the other thing i am trying to do is wash my hands : ) if i notice i am putting some prints and such . . .

Can you?..... you sure can if you want to....... Now I wouldn't recommend it. Apple tells in their iPhone info how and what to use to clean it.

With all the reports of people seeing slight cracks in the plastic casing or worried about causing scratches on their own I was wondering the same thing. I've heard some people have used the standard TurtleWax paste on their iPhone. Has anyone tried TurtleWax ICE Polish on their iPhone 3G?

Why the **** would you want to use turtle wax on a phone? SOme people have got really strange ideas. That's why you get a cleaning cloth for it.

TT ICE is already a pain on my car, I will say no to this. Thats why people go and buy a case before they use the phone.

Are you referring to TurtleWax Liquid ICE which goes on clear or are you referring to the paste which needs buffing?

It strengthens the plastic casing which a lot of people have already reported experiencing cracks or notice the Apple logo is flaking off under normal use. I wish I could recall the link I found online where a company is awaiting approval on a spray they developed for electronics that waterproofs and is similar to wax for sealing in the components. The video showed several phones underwater while on and then still working when taken out.
