Apps, with the exception of the iPod App, don't run in the backround, so there is no need for a task manager. If you wanted to clear local CPU memory, when exitting an app, hold down the home button until you get a blank screen (about 6 seconds) and then the home screen will appear. Doing this will end the memory being stored by that app, although the memory is suspended and not in use. Backround processes don't exist on the iPhone, but memory is stil being stored, just suspended.
Or do you mean a to-do list sort of thing?
