error 1436

I was trying to restore my i-pod since my brother was going to try to put some rhapsody music on to it so he click the "erase the curent library blah blah blah" or what ever it says and it didn't work so i tried putting my i tunes music back into my ipod but it wouldn't let me, so i tried to setore it but then a window came up saying it couldn't restore it because of error 1436

help please, i don't know what to do
