Apps and their monthly service fee

Do any of the applications have monthly service fees? Im worried becausesome of them (like Jott in particular) asks for your phone number and a reply text and making an account. Do you guys know of any app that charges you besides the initial fee?

No, there are no apps are not charged on a per-month basis. They are either free or have a one-time fee. +*Unless otherwise indicated*+, accounts made on apps won't be charged. They might use texts to communicate with others, (for instance, loopt) but they won't have charges.

do you know about jott? it doesnt specifically say in the description, but it keeps saying become our customer!! which in my mind has the connotation of paying money
