Brokey key covered by Apple Care?

Brokey key covered by Apple Care?

Hi!

I've gotten a 2 years old Macbook with 3 years Apple Care. One of the keys on the keyboard has fallen off(the down arrow). The plastic things under the button is also broken so there's no reason to try to set it back on the board. Is this things covered by the Apple Care? Will Apple switch my key/or keyboard?

 MacBook Core Duo White, Mac OS X (10.5.4), 2 GHz Intel Core Duo, 2 GB RAM

One of the pieces beneath the button broke at normal use. And sudden the button got stuck. Så I poked and pressed it a few times. And now it's loose.

Apple may cover it under warranty, depending on if they think its suspicious. If they think you did it, you will have to pay a repair fee (hopefully not). Sorry. Did this help? 😟

I thought so. I think I'll have to go to an authorized Apple Reseller and ask. And hope for the best. Thanks anyways 🙂
