Macbook + Peachtree

Would anyone suggest using a Macbook/Parallels/Bootcamp, to run Peachtree software (they don't make a Mac version). Or should I just buy a cheap PC laptop to run the software and leave the Mac alone?

Macbook 2.4GHz, Mac OS X (10.5), 2GB RAM

If that is the sole purpose of you needing a Laptop, then I would say just buy a budget PC. If I am thinking of the correct program, it is accounting software right?

However if you have more reasons than that, than a Macbook is a good choice. If the software is what I think it is, it should run fine under Parallels or Fusion... and bootcamp is guarenteed a smooth method since it is running windows natively just like on any PC (often times smoother). All your ports, network connections, etc would work just like on any PC laptop running same version of windows.
