Something is wrong with my 2gb ipod shuffle, the past week I noticed while running at the gym, that the volume is way too low and I cannot raise it. It is not the headphones because I tried them on something else. Could it be broken inside? I have not dropped it and I bought it in March 09' Is there anything I am missing here? thanks.
You can adjust the output in iTunes by selectig the "Settings" page at the top of your shuffle's content list. You can increase or decrease the maximum volume output on the bottom of that page. Maybe you somehow adjusted it lower without realizing it...
When you connect the Shuffle to the computer, and it shows up in iTunes, you should have a Setting a bit lower down, which says Limit maximum volume, this setting should be disabled.
hi could you help me i adjusted the volume setting in the settings tab to max but it is still low the shuffle has a green light so it should be charged fully
when i bought it first the volume was pretty loud when at max then when the battery was runnig low it would go low i new i had to recharge but now it is quite low all the time
Never heard of that happening, I use the shuffle when I ride my bike ... usually it`s maxed out ... and even before it dies of low battery, it still is louder than my Nano :)) Maybe it`s just the battery getting old ...
