No tracks in music store!!

I can view the Music Store main pages fine, and artist pages, but when I click on an album or look at an iMix NO TRACKS SHOW where the list usually appears and where the "buy" buttons usually appear they are not there either. I am unable to buy ANY tracks from the music store at all.

This is a new problem as of today. Anyone else having this problem or know why I am having it? There are a couple of tracks I wanted to buy today.

Quote: Could a couple people kindly write back and let me know what version of iTunes is installed

I have 4.7 installed. I haven't upgraded, because every time an upgrade comes out, I check out these forums to see peoples' reactions to the upgrade, and I've seen post after post from people saying their music library disappeared, or they can't get iTunes to start, or a myriad of other problems they had after upgrading. Many of them wish they could re-download the older version! I have backed up my purchases, but I don't have time to re-import everything, and I'm not 100% certain I remembered to backup every single purchase, so I really don't want to risk losing my library, and as far as not being able to open iTunes - I currently use iTunes daily and I rely on it now, so not being able to use it would have a big impact. I'm not computer saavy at all, so I'd really be stuck if that happened with no idea how to fix it.

Anyway, though, I've seen posts on here about this issue from people who said they upgraded to the new version, so I'm thinking the version being used isn't the culprit for this problem.

Thanks for your interest in helping

To add a desktop icon
Right-click the desktop, point to New, and then click Shortcut.
In Type the location of the item, type the path and name of the file or program you want to add as an icon, or click Browse to look for the file name, and then click Next.
Type the name that you want to appear under the icon, and then click Finish.

I can connect to iTMS with v4.9 just fine, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with iTunes version.

Hi

I have tried upgrading to versions of iTunes before from the current v4.7 but everytime I do it then wont recognise my Ipod. I then try to download the ipod updater from the current 2005-02-07 I have but everytime I run the set up file downloaded I receive an error and have to re-load iTunes v4.7 to sync.

If I download v6.0 should I have to update my Ipod to sync??

Any help is great

Thanks
