I can view the Music Store main pages fine, and artist pages, but when I click on an album or look at an iMix NO TRACKS SHOW where the list usually appears and where the "buy" buttons usually appear they are not there either. I am unable to buy ANY tracks from the music store at all.
This is a new problem as of today. Anyone else having this problem or know why I am having it? There are a couple of tracks I wanted to buy today.
Yup. Same here and it is now 7:01PM. This is on my Mac AND on the family DELL using Win iTunes as well, so it sure isn't us.
When you try to login to the store you get the error message that says the store is "temporarily unavailable."
It isn't your problem, it is the Apple Music store. Windows, Macs, noone can get into the store and see the tracks...hope they get that up and running soon. !
I am having the same problem and it just started today. I don't think it makes any difference to upload the new version of iTunes; I already have it. The weird thing is that my son can get the tracks on his computer, but I can't get it on mine. I sent an email to the music store.
Hi, I am glad to know that I am not the only one having this problem. I tried to call customer service but they are not available. Anyone has any suggestions about what we should do?
For everyone who has posted on this thread, what version of iTunes are you using. I suspect that full access to the store is only available on the 6.0 upgrade for iTunes released today. I upgraded this afternoon & have full access to the store.
Hi, Kate. There was a post in the Mac forum basically indicating the same thing, so I had a hunch an older version of iTunes might be the issue. I know see that one person has posted on 4.7, so I guess it would be upgrade time.
Sorry about that! We're looking into why the dialog didn't appear for some customers. In the meantime, though, you do need iTunes 4.9 or later to buy music from the iTunes Music Store.
