Connecting iPhone to Imac via bluetooth

My imac has a built in airport card; but I do not have an airport. Can I broadcast my cable comast signal to my iphone via bluetooth; and if so; how would I configure it. Or; do I need to purchase an Airport.

Thanks

Aluminum iMac 20 inch, Mac OS X (10.5.3), 4 gigs RAM 2.66 Ghz

Bluetooth in the iPhone is deliberately limited to work only with headsets.

If you want to connect your iPhone to the internet via your iMac's wi-fi, just turn on "Internet Sharing" in the "Sharing" system preferences pane, and set the options to "Share your connection from: Built-in Ethernet" - "To computers using: Airport".
