Ant infestation

Can ants short out a Macbook Pro? I've heard they like to be inside computers because of the warmth.
Apparently, this can short out some types of desktops. I was wondering if I should be concerned for my computer. I live in a really old house with a huge ant infestation.

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

If you literally have ants crawling around your computers you can always get some pest repellent and place around the perimeter where you don't want them. They sell this stuff that looks like a stick of chalk at the Asian markets around here. You just draw a line around your safe area and it actually works pretty well. Reason I'm mentioning that is because you live in Japan so you can get some easily.

But seriously, why don't you just take Kappy's advice and get your house fumigated or something 🙂
