FCP 6.0.4 Crashing over and over and..
I'm using FCP 6.0.4 on a new iMac. It launches once, doesn't work properly at all (settings are all messed up, no scratch disk settings even though it was set up on launch). It also won't ingest video files from my camera, the LOG and TRANSFER just says "IDLE" and won't start the ingest.
If I quit and restart, it crashes when it loads video effects, leaving me to toss out the user settings again (that's the only way it will run)-- and then I'm back to square one, but nothing works.
It's so frustrating, is there anything i can do here short of reinstalling everything and starting over?
