Which module goes to bank/dimm 1 or bank/dimm 0

It seems that one of the pair of the 2GB RAM modules (x2) I just got in the mail from Corsair is corrupted! So I would need to have it replaced by them.

Meanwhile, where should I install the one good 2GB memory module alongside one of the factory installed 1 GB memory chips, in the bank/dimm 1 or the bank/dimm 0?

TIA for all and any assistance.

MacBook4,1, Mac OS X (10.5.4), Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz, 160 GB

From everything I've read, it doesn't matter which slot you put the 2 GB stick and the factory 1 GB stick. Having said that, IF it's only going to be a couple of days before you get your replacement stick, I wouldn't mess around with it if its working. PITA opening and closing the memory access door (especially the tiny screws).
