Q: Transfer files from PowerBook 1400cs to MacBook

Hello. A previous discussion, which I couldn't seem to post on, mentioned SanDisk products and a USB card reader. I tried to find out specifically which ones would help from SanDisk. And where could I find the USB card reader?

Here was SanDisk's response, which is still vague for me:

"From what I understand, you are trying to copy files from your old 1400cs to your new Macbook.

"In order for this to work the following equipment will be needed. You will first need a PC card adapter and a compatible memory card for the Powerbook 1400cs, this is so you can save your Mac data onto a memory card. After that, you will need and external USB card reader for you Macbook, because the Macbook does not have a PC card slot. The reader will have to be compatible with the card you used to in the 1400cs.

"And as far as the CD is concerned, the technician was suggesting that in case one does not have a card reader, one may go to an associate who may have a card reader, and using that computer they can burn the cards data onto a CD so it can be transfered to the Macbook with the CD."

MacBook; Lombard G3; PowerBook 1400cs, Mac OS X (10.4.9)
