Error 11503 Cannot purchase unknown???

Question

Error 11503 Cannot purchase unknown???

I have never had trouble purchasing music until tonight. When I try to purchase any music I get the error Cannot purchase unknown, error 11503. Anyone have any solutions? I have Windows XP.

I have the same issue. Recently discontinued my AOL account and had Apple transfer a gift cert to my APPLE ID acct. Tech Support said that the issue was possibly due to a conflict with McAfee virus/firewall software. Very frustrated...

No, can't download the Tues. song or any other song/album. Not using 1 click or shopping cart. Just clicking on the song and then after a while the error code comes up. Waiting to hear back from Tech Support.
