import DVD to itunes ?

hello apple disscusions my itunes wont import my movie to the movies catergorey in the itunes menu bar on the left my drive on the iBook is a slot loading drive it wont work aand my Pc's slot drive is a DVD=/-RW 16x double layer and the pc says its a multiformatt drivve my cd's formatt is DVD so my iBooks slot loading drive wont work please help

iPod Touch2.0 iBook G3 Lime, Mac OS X (10.4.11), 

iTunes does not support any type of DVD importing in any way shape or form
