Transferring old SMS to new iPhone

Not sure about getting them to your new iPhone, but you can get them to your computer:

In addition to Syphone, there is also PhoneView to copy SMS messages to the computer

I take it you are on 02 if you are from london, sign into the website and sign up to Bluebook i think its called, and it will auto save you SMS and you can resend them to your new phone when ever you want.

I have lost my WebApps, settings, notes and my text messages. I am from Germany and my provider is T-Mobile. I have managed to reinstall the WebApps and some notes. But still I have missed my sentimental text messages. Any hints?
