Fuji Finepix S5600?

Hi,

When I plug my Fuji Finepix S5600 camera into my macbook, it doesnt detect it.

I have tried it with a PC to make sure I wasnt doing anything wrong and it works.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I don't have an answer for you, sorry.

But, I am having the same problem with my Fuji Finepix A800. The software loaded perfectly, however, when I plug the camera in to upload the photos... nothing happens.

I mean, I know the cables and the camera are working... the camera lights up for 10 seconds like it is going to start uploading, but then just shuts off (even with new batteries).

So, I don't know what to do either.

Ok, I'm back.

I read another post on here about using iPhoto versus your own camera's software to upload pics.

I just connected my camera, of course nothing happened with the Fuji software. But, when I clicked on iPhoto my photos loaded.

Perhaps try that? Good luck!!!
