My client's WiFi requires "key index" set to 2. Where's that setting?

Hello,
My client has installed WiFi in the office, and I'd like to be able to connect to it. Of course, it was set up for Windows. One of the security settings is to set the "key index" to 2 in the Advanced settings in Windows.

I can't find a similar setting on my Mac. Could anybody help me, please?

Thank you!

Andres

Hello adandler. Welcome to the Apple Discussions!

From what you are saying, I going to assume that your client's wireless network is encrypted with WEP. The problem is that the WEP key generated, using a key index other than 1, will not be "recognizable" by your Mac. There are no means of setting this or correcting it from the Mac-side. The key is created at the router and in order for you Mac to work with it, it would have to be regenerated with a key index of 1 ... or to switch the network encryption to something other than WEP, like WPA or WPA2.
