How to save contacts to SIM?

I can't find a way to export/snc my contacts to the SIM card. I want to keep contacts saved on the SIM for emergencies, like when my iPhone doesn't work and I need to use a old phone for a call.

What about somehow importing the sim contacts to your mac address book and then synching them from address book to the iPhone?

I am trying to find a utility/script that will do this very thing.

I actually copied the iPhone address book contact files to my mac but I could not figure out how to convert them so they would work in the mac address book.

Maybe someone has some information on how to do this?

Good Luck,

🙂

I cannot believe that you cannot back up your contacts to the iPhone. I mean, really, every other phone and I mean every other phone can do this. This feature is like Cell Phone 101 basic. Really Apple give your head a shake!

The sync backs up the contacts to your address book on the computer. Backing up to the SIM would just be putting them in two places on the phone.
