Hi all, does any body know how can I fully uninstall MainStage? (I've only installed MainStage, instead of Logic Studio) I can just only find out the MainStage.app from the applications file, but how about those packages? I mean sounds, effects..etc 'cause the MainStage.app is just 1xx mb in size, but I've used 5.5 GB in installing MainStage...help everyone!
Powerbook G4, iPhone 2G ver2.0, iPod Video 30G,
Mac OS X (10.5.4),
Window XP
Look in the Library folder in the top level of the hard disk and the same folder inside the item in the Finder's sidebar with the house icon for additional files.
The large size is from the Logic content that gets installed with you install Mainstage. But don't delete any of these if you're planning to install Logic as the vast majority of these files will get installed again.
Open Library/Application Support. In there you'll find the Logic folder where the content was put. Delete that.
If you want to completely get rid of all files you will find more stuff in Library/Receipts. You'll find the Space Designer Impulse Responses you'll find them in Library/Audio.
More files will possibly be in the user directories... so check in User/Library/Application Support/Logic
Then there's probably a preference files in User/Library/Preferences
Thanks Aerol, I think I have fully delete the MainStage already, thanks again!
But anyway, why are there haven't an official app that can help user to uninstall apps? Weird!
