Unable to chown file owner to 'system'

sudo chown -R system:wheel /somefile.jpg

This always results in an 'Invalid argument'. I'm assuming because Leopard is only allowing me to use Account names, but then how do we go about setting file ownership to the system???

Help pwease

Now, if I can just find the preference for Auto-Make Cup of Coffee How I Like It, Mac OS X (10.5.4)
