I've never had any problems connecting to the internet at my house, but today it wouldn't connect because "Airport does not have an IP address and cannot connect to the Internet". and i keep getting a popup about the IP configuration saying that my ip address is in use. how do i fix this??
I'd try first resetting your Modem and Router. Generally that is the problem. Somewhere within your network, your IP addresses have fouled up. Give that a try first then let us know how it goes.
What kind of router do you have? Most routers I think should allow you to "Renew DHCP Clients" Do you know how to get into your router and navigate once inside?
Also, make sure the under System Preferences -> Network-> Air Port -> TCP/IP that the "CONFIGURE IPv4" is set to "Using DHCP." Also in there you can try hitting the "Renew DHCP Lease" and see if that helps.
