VNC Mocha feedback !

When trying to connect to any computer accross the city using a dns it only works if I am connected trough a Wifi if I then try to connect to the same DNS using 3g it does not work. Also If I then ping the dns and take that ip adress I am perfectly able to connect with no problem.

Error when trying to connect using DNS without Wifi: Can not connect to ....There is no active network. Check Wifi and phone settings.

Anyone is having the same problem ? Anyone can confirm that it is working for them without the Wifi remotely connecting to a DNS.

Note : I have tried both Dyndns and no-ip

Thank you in advance for your answers

I don't know why, but the following work-around is working for me. I had the exact same experience with you on 3G and wifi. I sometimes get the same error message you describe. When I do, I go to safari and surf to any web page, and then go back and try Mocha VNC and then it works. I like Mocha VNC except for this issue. I think there must be a bug in the software such that it does not always recognize the 3G network, even though it is actually available. Post whether this work-around works for you.

I have a quick beginner question for you because I downloaded this and want to try it. I am not sure what to put in for my address. I have multiple computers on the same network so I am not sure how to type in the address so it will connect to the right one. I have tried typing in the external IP but it just keeps trying to connect and eventually times out. Can someone put an example of how to type in the address?

Thanks
