im trying to find my cell phone number on the iPhone, can someone help?

Im trying to find my cell phone number on the iPhone so i know what it is, most other cell phones offer a place in contacts and you can access your own cell phone number to see what it is, can you look at ur own cell phone number on iPhone?

Try
Settings > Phone
It should display your phone number at the top.

On your iPhone, If you click on the contacts in your phone application, click on 'contacts', click on groups at the upper left, make sure you select the "All Contacts" group, and scroll all the way to the very, very top, it will display the phone's #.

I noticed this as well. Using advice found in another thread I plugged the SIM into my old RAZR and under Settings I saw that there was no number programmed into the phone (other than the implicit association with the SIM itself through the carrier). Typing in the number and swapping the SIM back into the iPhone now causes the number to show up in Phone/Contacts (note: not just Contacts) and Settings/Phone.

I don't have my iPhone number in my iPhone. I was given a number when I first activated my original iPhone through iTunes. That number is nowhere to be found onboard iPhone. I think it may be to do with the SIM card being provided originally having no number assigned to it until activation (here in the UK)

My friend has my original iPhone with the O2 Pay and Go SIM card installed, which had a number pre-registered to the SIM, and his telephone number shows up at the top of his contacts page

Hi, my husband just downloaded the new 2.0.2 iphone upgrade for his 2g iphone, and i haven't done it yet. He is now unable to locate his own cell number at the very top of the all contacts list. I do not want to "upgrade" my software if this will happen, since this is a key bit of information in a handy spot. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, solved it?? thanks!!!
