Change the Lock screen image

Is there anyway to change the image used for a locked or curtained screen? Personally, I would like something a little more subtle.

Not please don´t remove the "imagen.tif" in the System/Library/CoreService/...

You just need to make your imagen (customized imagen)whit any designer program like photoshop or something like that, and save it whit the name "Lock Screen Picture" don´t change the name ok!
and put it into
System/Library/Preferences/

and wouuuu!
you have a new lockscreen picture in your clients

Postdata: try to do a big imagen (1024 x 768)for example.
good look!
