Loading Screen

when ever i turn my macbook pro the loading screen...u know where its all white and the apple sign is in the middle and a little circular loading object below it...just stays there and its looks like its loading but it just stays there, it dosent go into the login screen or anything thing..the screen stays on the white loading screen which i think seems forever.!!

Try Booting in Safe Mode so it can check and fix any issues, hold down 'shift' at start up.

just tried it....no go..i hold shift down and nothing happens....it seems that i've tried everything and it dosent work.....

i did a hardware test and this error came up....

4SNS/1/40000000:TGOD-88.500

Because of that, I would either call Applecare, or if possible take your MBP into an apple store if that is possible. I got a very similar error code before, but without the 88.500 at the end of the error, and I ended up having to get my logic board replaced. Anyways, apple care or a genius should be able to tell you what the error means and what it will require. Also, if you can I would back up any important data if you are able to just to be safe.
