Java not working in Safari

Anyone know how to make Java work in Safari, I know it is installed, it works in all of my other browsers but Safari it doesn't. Everything is checked off under preferences and under the security tab on the browser to allow Java, Java Script, enable plug-ins, and block popup windows, is there anything I can do to rectify this problem.
