bass buzzing after export

Question

bass buzzing after export

When I export a recorded song to iTunes the bass notes will buzz sometimes in the song when played in iTunes. It must be happening through the export, because I don't hear any buzz at all when I play the song in Garageband. I was thinking that maybe there is some export equalizer or something to adjust it, but I didn't find one. I would appreciate any help, thanks.

The equalizer and sound improvement options are both on. What I did try doing, though is cutting the bass on the master track of the garageband song. It made most of the buzzing go away, but it is still there. The strange part about it is that the bass wasn't any quieter in iTunes, even though it was in Garageband. And changing the equalizer in iTunes didn't help, and no other songs I have in iTunes have that problem, just the ones recently imported from Garageband.

Is any of the meters clipping in GB? A single track meter or the overall volume meter? In that case, it might still sound ok in GB but will definitely sound distorted in iTunes.

Is you iTunes Equalizer switched off? Have you unchecked the "Sound Improvement" option in iTunes' prefs?
