Removing finger oil from screen....

Oil won't remain if you just keeep wiping it longer. You can also try sprinkling a few water droplets before wiping. Just remember to use a lint-free cloth. Having a full screen protector sure does help with the oils and fingerprints.

I just use a microfiber cloth -- works perfectly.

I am going to assume you know about the free cloth included in the 3g box? I just dug mine out and cleaned my whole screen spotless with mere elbow grease.. it looks so nice as well. Once you've cleaned it, make sure to handle it with light fingers on the sides only or you'll be starting again! As mentioned in another reply above, a little moisture might help it out. I am sure there is a section on "cleaning" in the manual.

I use the cloth that comes with it. But my secret weapon is mcguires car wax the paste formula. Yes! You can use car wax and a lint free cloth to buff it.. You will be able to handle your iPhone with your bare hands and the layer of wax will protect it from finger oil. In case you get dry wax in the creavas's of the phone use an old toothbrush.

Yes I waxed the back as well the paste car wax polish works best, because the liquid wax will run over into the cracks and creavas of the phone. Trust me it works and restores the iPhone back into prestine condition. My wife thought I was crazy until she saw the buffed out product I learned this cleaning technique long agwity previous phones.

I have a few monitor clothes that work perfectly.

Buy iKlear from your local Apple store or from Apple's online store. I use it for cleaning all my Apple products.

I tend to use sunglass lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth if I ever want to get the whole thing sparkly and new looking.

I very much like that idea.. I am guessing you can also polish the shell (back) with it as well??
