How to remove ATI Drivers and Display panel?

How do you uninstall recently installed ATI Drivers and Display Panel? I downloaded and installed them in an attempt to fix my display problem where I can no longer set the resolution to 1920x1200 60Hz - it only shows 1920x1200 76Hz.

If I remember correctly, the ATI display panel is a System Preference. (I updated the ATI drivers on an old iMac ages ago)

So that would be in Macintosh HD/Library/Preference Panes or yourusername/Library/Preference Panes.

The drivers are in Macintosh HD/System/Library/Extensions. You will need to be logged in to your Admin account to remove these.

Be very careful with the contents of this folder. Deleting the wrong things here might mean a complete re-install of Mac OS X. Pay attention to the "created" and "modified" dates of the drivers you wish to remove.
