DocumentRoot… does not exist

My Apache log is showing the following nonfatal error…

*Warning: DocumentRoot [/mypath/defaultsite/error_log] does not exist*

…where mypath is the correct path to the defaultsite site folder.

Defaultsite is just that - the first VH of around 20, there only to catch visitors who might be lost.

Its configuration looks correct. The puzzling thing about the message is I can't see any reason why the file it's whining about should exist. I created it anyhow, which had no effect.

The problem isn't serious and perhaps I'm being paranoid, but I don't like mysterious errors. 😉

I'm running Apache 2.2.8 under OSXS 10.5.4 with all updates current.

G5 DP 2.5 ghz, etc., Mac OS X (10.5.4), OS X Server 10.5.4
