Black Vertical Lines On Macbook Pro Display

I bought a new 15.4 inch Macbook Pro about a month and a half ago and started seeing black vertical columns displaying statically on my display. Here's a link to the picture of it I took with my cellphone http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk222/rs-1981/Macbook%20Pro/photo.jpg So i brought the laptop to the genius bar, explained what was wrong, and they gave me a new replacement. They had no idea what it was.

So here I am about 1 month later with the new laptop and it's starting to happen all over again. I can usually get the screen to go back to normal after rebooting and it will be fine for a few days and then it starts all over again.

Any ideas of what could be going wrong and any advice on what I should expect apple to do about it would be highly appreciated. I really don't want to have them replace a second time only for this to happen again.

Thanks

you're not alone. it's something all macbook pros 15" are having. it seems to be caused when the display changes brightness, wakes from sleep, power cord removed, or just randomly. Close the lid and reopen to remove the stripes.
