I purchased an HP C7250 Photosmart printer yesterday. My wife had no trouble getting it to connect wirelessly to the Airport and then wirelessly to her PC based laptop. I seem to be able to connect wirelessly from my MacBook Pro by using the System Preferences, Printers and Faxes routine. But that's where everything stops. When I try to print I get one or two error messages like "pstopdffilter/pstocupsraster failed with err number -1" or "/Library/Printers/hp/cups/Photosmart.driver/Contents/MacOS/Photosmart failed" and then the print job is added to the queue and the status column for the printer is marked "stopped".
Any suggestions?

Thanks. Update your profile info. Since you just got the printer, hook it up directly, run Software Update, and download the HP_AIO 1.1 update. Once that's installed, see if the printer works. If so, then try wirelessly.
The following information should work.
On the printer keys press * #.
Then 1,2,3.
Go to the Printer screen.
Using the arrows toggle to Reset printer.
Press RESET.
Then reenter your router code on the printer.
The printer should work.
Also remember you are entitled to Printer support by HP.
HP will give you a code so you can make the call.
They will give you instructions.
I was getting similar errors, as was others.
I obtained the above instructions from an Internet website which indicated the computer user called HP and asked for the correct instructions.
