How do I unfreeze my phone.

I installed another (paid for) new app last night and yet again my phone has frozen. After I reset the phone (sleep/home button), it left me looking at that little apple logo. In due course I fell asleep and I woke up to find that little logo still shining happily back at me.

Its 7.00am now and I am trying to restore the phone through iTunes, but all the phone seems to do is freeze iTunes too. At least iTunes unfreezes when I remove the phone from its dock.

*How do I unfreeze my phone when the sleep/home button and iTunes restore do not work?*

This is getting boring.

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.4), MacBook, white 1.83Ghz Core Duo (Broke).

LOL, Thanks for the reply.

I will try DFU Mode now.

If anyone is interested, *a way that kills your phone is when updating an app on the phone, open settings app.*

I found something similar to this by following a request by a newly installed app, which told me to enter my email address into its new preferences button under settings. That will teach me not to restart my phone first! I should have learnt that back in win95.
