LiveType Question.

I've installed everything with my Final Cut Pro Production Suite, but livetype doesn't show any textures or objects. I have 380+ things in my livetype data folder, but nothing shows in livetype...any ideas?

Well, it's exactly where it's supposed to be then. That's good.

Go to Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences and move the file "com.apple.LiveType.plist" to the Trash.

Open LiveType and see if it finds the files now.

This will recreate "com.apple.LiveType.plist" from scratch with it's standard values. If all is well, you can empty the Trash.

I just looked at my LT data folder -it has 893 items, incuding sub folders. Something went wrong with your installation.

New plan of attack: Trash the following, but do not empty the trash yet-

Your LiveType folder in Library/Application support.
The LiveType.pkg file in Library/Receipts.

Grab your LiveType Data DVD and run the installer once more.
When it's done, right click the LiveType folder and choose Get Info. The pane that opens will show you how many items are in there. If the numbers look right, you are good.

The contents of your LiveType folder should look like this:

User uploaded file

There should be several sub folders, with content in each.
