I am using Final Cut Pro on a MacBook, but I cannot use the Z button, that means, no command-z for undo and no z for the zoom tool. It's annoying, can somebody give me a hand?
MacBook Intel C2D 2.2 Ghz,
Mac OS X (10.5.4),
iMac G5 2.0 Ghz
are you saying that the Z key on the keyboard is broken? Or does it work in everything else EXCEPT FCP. If it works in all other places, perhaps you have a system command mapped to Z and that is trumping your FCP Z command.
Command Z and the Z button work well on everything else. I can even do a Redo in FCP with shftcmdZ, but there is no way I can do a cmd+Z. I saw the remap option, but if there is a way to solve it, I'd like to know it, if not, remaping would be my last choice.
Thank you guys! I remaped the command. I selected it and stablished ctrcmdZ to be the Undo. Then it happend that the cmd+Z was working fine. Great!!!! Thanks!
